Built to International Standards
Every ZINCOVA product is manufactured to meet the compliance requirements of our key export markets β from Australia and the USA to Europe and the Middle East.
Compliance Protects Your Project
When you specify galvanized steel railings for a construction project, using non-compliant products exposes you to significant liability. Building inspectors, architects and project managers increasingly require documented proof that materials meet the relevant national standard.
At ZINCOVA, every product we manufacture is designed to meet the applicable standards for your target market. We can provide material test certificates, zinc thickness test reports and third-party inspection certificates with every shipment.
If you are unsure which standard applies to your project, tell us the installation country and application β we will advise you on the right specification.
Certification Details
The specific standards our products are manufactured to meet, and what they mean for your project.
ASTM A123 is the primary US standard for hot-dip galvanized coatings on structural steel. It defines minimum zinc coating thickness requirements based on steel thickness category and product type. This standard is required by most US commercial and municipal construction projects.
- Minimum average coating thickness of 85ΞΌm for structural steel products
- Covers fabricated products including railings, fences and structural components
- Test method includes magnetic thickness gauge measurement on multiple points
- Material test certificates available with every shipment
EN ISO 1461 is the international standard covering hot-dip galvanized coatings on fabricated iron and steel. It is the primary standard used across the UK, Europe and many other markets. The standard specifies coating thickness requirements, test methods and acceptance criteria.
- Specifies minimum local and mean coating thickness by steel thickness
- Covers single articles and centrifuged products
- Widely accepted by architects and structural engineers across Europe
- Test certificates provided on request
AS/NZS 4680 is the Australian and New Zealand standard for hot-dip galvanized coatings. It is the required standard for most commercial and residential railing projects in Australia and New Zealand, including balcony railings, stair railings and perimeter fencing.
- Specifies minimum average coating of 85ΞΌm for standard steel articles
- Required by Australian building codes for structural steel applications
- Products tested and documented to AS/NZS 4680 requirements
- Test certificates and zinc thickness reports available
AS 1926 is the Australian standard for swimming pool safety barriers. It is a mandatory requirement for all residential pools in Australia and specifies barrier height, non-climbability requirements, gate specifications and opening limitations. Our pool fence products are designed to meet AS 1926 requirements.
- Minimum barrier height of 1,200mm from finished ground level
- Non-climbable zone requirements β vertical bar spacing β€100mm
- Self-closing, self-latching gate with child-resistant latch
- No horizontal rails or footholds within the non-climbable zone
- Compliance documentation available for council submissions
How We Test Every Batch
Testing is not an afterthought β it is built into our production process at every stage.
Every batch is measured with a calibrated magnetic thickness gauge at multiple points per article. Results are recorded and compared against the applicable standard minimum.
All critical dimensions β height, length, bar spacing, post diameter β are verified against the order specification using calibrated measuring tools.
Products are visually inspected for incomplete coating, bare spots, weld defects and surface damage. Any non-conforming items are reworked before re-inspection.
A zinc thickness test report is issued for each shipment, documenting the measured values, applicable standard and confirmation of compliance.
Independent Verification Available
For orders where independent verification is required, we work with the world's leading inspection agencies.
The world's leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company. SGS inspection reports are accepted by buyers and project managers worldwide.
A global leader in testing, inspection and certification services. Bureau Veritas reports are widely recognised across Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific.
We can accommodate inspection by other agencies including Intertek, TUV or any buyer-nominated inspector. Contact us to discuss your specific requirements.
